LA VEREDA
An evocative journey through the colors and sensations of Colombia. Marni’s project for Salone del Mobile 2018 is a Vereda festival.
April 2018 – Inspired by Las Veredas, Colombian tiny urban settlements, the colorful universe of MARNI LA VERADA is a place of unique folklore which is home to furnishings, design objects and accessories.
Papier-mâché and bead chickens, hand-crafted by a community of Colombian women from Villanueva, in the Casanare Department, populate the space taking visitors into the warmth of a rural community.
